Tenma Night Fever (2016)

Growing up between Japan and the US, I have always been fascinated by the cultural representations people and cities exhibit on a daily basis. My summer photography project focused on the intersectionality of setting and subject to highlight Japanese identity. The goal was to represent images of Urban life in Japan that better reflected what I knew, rather than the portrayal of media today.
